Donekys shouldnt try to do dog's work

There is a saying that Donkey shouldn't try to do Dog's work. I dont know in which language it is present but it is true even in the IT case. I found myself in such a situation today, i was testing our Tool and f ound many bugs. I reported them and people got a feeling that the release is getting delayed bcoz of me. I am a developer and shouldnt be worried about testing Installers. But at the time of release, people will be doing things all sorts of things. Today i learnt a lesson and i will try not to test installers @ relea se time as stringently as i used to do earlier.
